the eye of the storm is passing over the tinian channel. rota is still being hit hard. the winds here have increased slightly, but alarmingly. that north-northwestern turn is not happening.

rota is reporting winds of up to 130mph, guam's highest winds are at 75mph at andersen air force base. the airport is reporting winds at 58mph. the suckah slowing down, which is bad for everyone, especially rota. the strongest part of the eyewall is still on top of it. they don't expect the winds to die down until sometime tomorrow morning. hopefully earlier than later, but with the slowdown, who knows.
